The other day we were outside playing (which is nothing out of the ordinary, but this time Steve grabbed the camera). The boys have had so much fun playing with the decorative gourds. It's good that Halloween is over because these gourds have taken a beating. Ethan thinks they are apples as you will see in the video. He just cracks me up sometimes.
One of Dylan's favorite outdoor activities is using the big broom to sweep the sidewalk. Hmmm is that considered child labor??? He actually does a pretty good job.
Dylan showing off the "boo boo" on his leg. It was just a small scrape but it needed lots of kisses.
Ethan learned "what is that" this week. The world is such an curious place for a 1 year old. He is saying so many more words that Dylan said at this age. It is so hard not to compare them sometimes. I think the second child really does pick some things up faster.
Dylan is trying so hard to be a big boy. He is working on getting his clothes on himself. He also has been helping with washing dishes, folding laundry and cleaning. While it takes so much longer to do all these things with his help the proud look on his face when he has accomplished something is totally worth it.
They grow up so fast. It is a little bittersweet.
